Hi, I’m Peter.
Scotland, born and raised. Yes, the accent is real! And so is my obsession with creating events that dazzle, surprise, and actually make people feel something.
Before launching my event design career, I spent years as a globe-trotting “major domo”—running luxury households for celebrities and CEOs with precision, grace, and a flair for the fabulous. (Yes, it’s a real job title. And yes, I pay attention to everything that goes on.) That experience taught me how to make the impossible look easy, how to anticipate needs before they’re spoken, and how to bring calm to any kind of chaos.
Now, I lead Peter Cunningham Design—a full-service event design studio where big visions meet brilliant execution, and nothing is ever cookie-cutter. I’m part artist, part logistics nerd, and part enthusiastic hype man. I’ll be your on-site wrangler, your creative sounding board, and the one who’s probably dancing (badly) while fluffing florals or styling a table just “so”. It’s not a job. It’s one of my greatest joys.

The Vibe
We’re known for not having “a look”—and that’s the point. We believe great design doesn’t repeat itself. Instead, we tailor each event to the space, the client, and the moment. Especially when working in iconic venues that get used year after year, our superpower is making them feel completely new every single time.
We don’t do rinse and repeat. We reimagine. Reinvent. Reenergize. (And then probably raise a glass and toast to it.)
